"Not all those who wander are lost."

- J.R.R. Tolkien

Welcome to Bright Collaboration

Therapy is often an attempt to stabilise the crisis, to find ease in the distress, to ‘deal’ with an emotional or cognitive obstacle. … but therapy can also be an exciting opportunity for wandering, wondering and wonder.

Like the Wanderer, the therapeutic journey can take many different paths, some can be quite painful (‘growing pains’) and some, equally, can be enlightening, encouraging and enriching.

Therapy can be likened to facing a brick wall; the process allows us to safely chip away the paint and plaster, to reveal a perfectly imperfect structure that is now raw and exposed, in order to fully appreciate the beauty, vulnerability and strength of the structure.
